    Description

    This is a large cardboard menu from the S. S. "United States" of the United States Cruise Lines.  It is dated December 11, 1954.  It doesn't indicate where they are cruising but does say that "clocks will be 'retarded' 90 minutes tonight."  Dinner offerings included roast chicke or fresh jersey ham, Veal Steak, salads, vegetables, peach, cherry or pineapple compote, scrambled eggs with shrimps, macaroni and cheese, mock turtle ragout and lots, lots more, especially desserts!  It is 11" by 8 & 1/2" with a horizontal fold across the middle.  There are no other damages of any kind.  I am also listing a breakfast menu from this cruise.
